OFFICIAL SELECTION AND SILVER AWARD WINNER -BEST GOSPEL FEATURE - CHRISTIAN FAMILY FILM FESTIVAL 2025!
- One More Time is a deeply personal and poignant project from director Peter James Iengo, shaped by profound loss and a journey toward healing. After losing his father to COVID-19 in April 2020, Peter turned to GriefShare—a faith-based support group—for comfort and guidance. Over the past five years, this community has played a crucial role in helping him navigate the complex terrain of grief through fellowship, counseling, and spiritual connection. In 2021, Peter began facing his own chronic health challenges, which added another layer to his emotional and spiritual journey. Inspired by both his personal experience and the stories of others within the GriefShare community, he set out to create a film that would honor these voices and offer hope to those walking similar paths. Blending documentary-style interviews with a powerful narrative, One More Time weaves together real-life testimonies of grief, faith, and resilience. At the heart of the film is Brian (portrayed by Alex Mulzac), whose journey mirrors Peter’s own—exploring themes of loss, healing, and the transformative power of faith and support.
